Go to https//, and set up an Account for your phone #. Make sure you verify your email, and when you are signed in, Add Device, from My Account, drop down Menu. Put ur IMEI # OR SIM # whichever it asks for. Now refresh your Browser. Ok now go back to your main menu in drop down, go to My Devices. Scroll Down and you should see your phone number under an Active Device tab. If all good, Go to My Account drop menu and click Manage Profile. When inside, set all ur personal info and on the Email and Password, Put it the same as what you signed up your phone Account with, and at the very end of ur options u will See that you have a tab to opt in or out of TracFone Msgs or Emails and for what Phone #’s.(u can add however many phones, by Add Device) but only one Email per Device…So don’t forget ur Email. It’s nice to always opt-in to Emails because which ever email u receive TracFone promotional emails on, Is the Email that is Assigned to ur device. Ok now when you uncheck Calls, and Messages, you will no longer receive msgs, they will just be sent to your email. P.S. make sure birthday is right the first time if u plan to use bank card, it won’t let you edit Birhday from there out. And Address provided in personal info has to match your bank address you provided or it will decline payment. Email me with questions, I’m no expert but have a lot of knowledge…

We are unable to get help activating phone for past few months. Need help. Phone will not let us reset password.

Normally there is a default code that will over power the code set. But by default it’s the last 4 #’s of that phone’s # that was last activated on it. However it may possibly be the Master, which is most of the time, 1111, 0000, 1234.
The Second possibility could be if you have a different SIM card than the original sim provided wit the phone or the sim used to activate
the phone. You can check that under SETTINGS, PHONE INFO, STATUS OR SIM INFO, and just match Sim Card #’s to Sim #’s programmed in the phone. This is also where u will find the last phone number activated on the phone, use the last four digits as the code to master reset it under Security in Settings. Or the default above. You may email me for anymore questions, I am by no means an expert, However, I love technology and have a TracFone personally and learn daily everything it takes to customize it as my own.
