I came to this page by searching for this short code after I got messages from both Vanguard and Popular Direct through this short code.

Maybe it’s someone spoffing the sms #, like they do with tel. #’s?

Both TD Ameritrade and Charles Schwab use this short code for two factor authentication. There are probably other brokers or banks that use it as well.

Besides TD Bank, I get authentication codes from Empire/UnitedHealthcare. Some do not say for what company. Just got one now, but I’m not trying to sign in anywhere so I don’t know if its a hack or wrong #.

I believe that this is NOT a DEDICATED SHORT CODE. I am receiving two distinctly differently worded text messages trying to verify my indentity.
